For centuries there have been so many predictions of Armageddon and the end of the world from prophets, visionaries and also religious cults but we are still here.
Why do many people have this vision with the end of the world ending on a certain date or time?
This date of 23rd September has been mentioned on various occasions as being the end of the world and rapture to begin its heavenly ascension for the righteous. The reality is that no-one knows the date.
A few years back now prior to 2012 there was also a plethora of articles and videos on Youtube stating that it will be the end according to the Mayan calendar but once again we lived to see the other side of that prophetic year.
The year of 2012 was a nerving one for many as there was so much hype around this calendar date and the Hollywood movies didn’t help matters. The fact is that the Mayans didn’t really predict the end of the world as such but more of an end of that age and the start of a new one. Their calendar also ended at 2012 so that’s another reason for many to be hyping up the end of days.
So what’s giving people the jitters for yet another prophetic date?
World War 3
We all know what’s going on in the world at this precise moment what with President Trump and North Korea and not forgetting the constant bickering between the USA and Russia over various factors.
Could this constant bickering lead to war? It’s highly possible and when you have two egos battling together, it only takes one to press the button first and we are all doomed.
The question is: who is mad enough? It’s a tough one because both Trump and Kim Jong-un have psychotic tendencies and it’s all about who has the guts to start bombing first and we all wait in suspense on what will happen next.
President Trump loves Tweeting his response to Kim Jong-un’s nuclear missile tests calling him ‘Rocket Man’ which all sounds entertaining but sooner or later we may not be laughing.
Planet X – ‘Nibiru’ / ‘Wormwood’
Apparently, there is a planet within our solar system that has been heading towards Earth and according to a load of Christian conspiracy theorists, it will collide with Earth on 23rd September.
Nibiru, otherwise known as Wormwood (in the bible) is the planet that is going to collide with Earth the next time it makes an appearance.
Wormwood is mentioned in the Book Of Revelation as a great star which fell from heaven to the Earth on the sound of the 3rd trumpet which caused the third part of the rivers and fountains of the water to turn to a bitterness of which many will die. This is what the Christians believe and what is written in the bible.
Those Christians are not the only ones who have predicted this event and the planet ‘Nibiru’.
Author Zecharia Sitchin first discovered that there was a planet that had a 3,600-year orbit around our sun and the signs have been discovered in ancient Sumerian scripts and clay tablets that were discovered by archaeologists. In his book The Twelfth Planet, he explains that Nibiru will eventually be visible again due to its 3,600-year orbit. The last time it was here in our solar system it played havoc with our planet and an alien race called ‘The Annunaki’ inhabited the planet.
There have been many videos from people on Youtube where they have apparently filmed a second sun which is visible alongside our sun. Whether this is caused by an anomaly due to filming the sun which causes a reflection or something similar is another story. Only professional photographers and cameramen will be able to answer that.
Asteroids and Comets.
We have had many near misses with asteroids and comets over the years and astronomers are discovering much more with more powerful telescopes. Will there ever be a stray one that ends up flying into our beautiful planet? Probably, but the chances are very minimal. The problem is that the last one may have wiped out the dinosaurs so we could be in line for another one any day now.
The reassuring news is that we now have the technology to spot one big enough to end life on Earth so we should know about it way before it makes an appearance in our skies. The question is – would we be told about it? Wouldn’t there be mass panic worldwide which would be extremely hard for the authorities to make order out of public chaos?
Maybe we will know once the global elite suddenly disappears into their underground bunkers while we are are walking around chatting to each other about what new car we intend on buying next week.
Increase in Human aggression and Civil War.
We have seen an increase in aggression over recent times what with politics being the main factor of protests and overall anger on the streets. Racial division has also played a big part in this aggression with the rise of left and right political groups in their many forms.
Could this aggression eventually lead to a civil war? We have experienced them in the past so why can’t it happen again? It certainly looks like there could be another civil war just around the corner and could trigger unrest right across the world. We can witness protests and anger on our streets in the news on a weekly basis now and it certainly looks very worrying indeed.
It will only take another issue for it to spiral out of control and protest groups will clash with anger on the streets in a hostile manner. This may not be the ingredients which will cause the end of the world but it will definitely have an impact on our society.
There has also been an increase in human psychotic behaviour and anger which may be triggered by various factors going on worldwide or it could be something else, who knows? It certainly looks like people have had enough and their stress levels have exceeded their threshold.
Maybe we need to focus on other things like meditation which has amazing health benefits. Exercise is also a great way of relieving stress as it releases endorphins which make us feel great.
Disease
Diseases like Ebola have made the news of recent times which at one stage was getting quite worrying. It looks like they have kept it under control now thankfully until the next major virus strikes!
Bill Gates once stated that ‘it’s not terrorism you need to be frightened of, it’s the next major virus that could kill over 30 million people” Well thanks for that reassuring news Bill, that’s made us feel a whole lot better.
Bill Gates did state the following:
“Whether it occurs by a quirk of nature or at the hand of a terrorist, epidemiologists say a fast-moving airborne pathogen could kill more than 30 million people in less than a year. And they say there is a reasonable probability the world will experience such an outbreak in the next 10 to 15 years”

Natural Disasters and Weather
This year alone has witnessed some extreme weather worldwide and the USA has had its fair share of wild weather and natural disasters including several fierce hurricanes and record temperatures.
Back in June, the western part of the United States suffered the most scorching heat which broke records which had caused power outages and cancellation of flights. There have been dozens of wildfires caused by excessive heatwaves in the western parts of the USA during August and then the Southern parts witnessed the brute force of Hurricanes ‘Harvey’ and Irma and now we have the presence of Hurricane Maria.
Could we be experiencing an increase in natural disasters worldwide? Don’t forget apocalyptic floods happening in various parts of the world and the recent major Earthquakes including the one in Mexico which has killed 230 people.
So what’s next, a super volcano? Only time will tell but it’s no wonder that more and more people are prepping for the next disaster and those very people were once laughed at but they are now in a very good position survive in a ‘s**t hit the fan’ scenario more so than anyone else who laughs at them. So basically being a prepper in today’s world is a sensible option.
It’s Not All Doom & Gloom
Apart from all the doom and gloom and end of the world conspiracies, we are actually living in very prosperous times. We have more money now than we have ever had before even though there are obviously many countries still living in poverty. Medicine has advanced so much over the years hence the reason why we are all living longer now then we have ever done before.
We also have access to an abundance of information at our fingertips which we have never had before as well as information on what is good for you regarding food and exercise. Keeping fit in the gym can be a huge benefit to our body and mind.
What we all need to do is embrace the abundance that we have but at the same time, we need to look after ourselves and also enjoy the wonders of nature that are all around us. Nature is amazing and we often forget that it is a benefit to us because we are so wrapped up in our material life and working all hours to pay for the new shiny object that we are conditioned to think it will make us happier.
So remember that we are living in a world of abundance and you can be what you want in the world, but it may take a little bit of hard work to get to where you want and we all have the ability and chance to do exactly that.
